Adrian had always been a dominant and controlling person, even from a young age. He grew up in a wealthy family and was used to getting what he wanted, when he wanted it. As he got older, his behavior became more aggressive and abusive, especially towards his romantic partners. He had a history of physically and emotionally abusing his girlfriends, and even though he knew it was wrong, he couldn't help himself.
